Recently i have configured two smtp relay server on my environment. Both are running in server OS 2019 and both server are in same domain but in different location.
i am getting mail through one SMTP replay server and not through second smtp relay server. we have opened ports and checked in network part and there is no port blocked . i have reconfigure the server and still mails are in the queue folder.
no idea where is the problem

It appears we started receiving errors similar to the one below since last week on our Exchange Server 2016. A staff member stated he was receiving emails normally on his PC but not on his phone.
This server has been set up since November 2019 without any issues. The default ports in the firewall were added as part of the Exchange installation.
I have seen information online that suggest doing a variety of things such as creating registry keys, change the page file to installed memory and a number of other steps indicated here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/david231/for-exchange-2010-and-2013-do-this-before-calling-microsoft
Are all of these steps really required to resolve the issue? The KB905013 does not appear available after doing an online search
I see https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/35919.event-id-1040-on-exchange-servers.aspx about changing the heartbeat interval value in the web.config file but should this really be necessary if there hasn’t been an issue before now? Is modifying this file recommended?

Remove old expired Exchange Delegation Federation

After that i left the Old one there. Now since the old one is expired, its showing in the ECP notification all the time.
I am unable to delete it from ECP, it error out.
Does anyone experience that, please share your process to remove the expired one.

Exchange Migration
I have a 2016 CU9 exchange server that I cannot get to upgrade to CU17. I'm wanting to create a new 2016 server offsite for eventual HA. What I am thinking of is creating a new CU17 server and make it part of the organization and then start moving the mailboxes and such from the CU9 to the CU17. Once finished, decommission the CU9 server and create a new CU17 server for HA/DAG. Would this work, or do I need to create a CU9 to move the organization to and then upgrade it.

Exchange 2016 SAN Boot Issues
I have an issue with a Exchange 2016 VM on a 2016 Hypervisor that is failing to boot after restart. Windows boots fine but Exchange fails to load. Each time I rebooted the server the services that would be running were random. This leads me to believe that the problem is a timeout of some kind.
If I manually boot up the services and use powershell to mount the DB's everything works. My issue exists when Exchange tries to load up at boot.
I spoke to HPE and they verified the SAN was healthy and they don't see an issue.
Going through the logs there are a ton of errors but nothing to indicate a start of the problem. My best guess is network speed has resulted in the DB not loading properly so the server errors out and starts without Exchange running properly.
Has anyone seen this in a SAN environment with virtualized Exchange. Any ideas on how to properly debug it so I can get good error messages? The Exchange log is almost useless with all the junk it put in there.
Adding Domain to Existing Exchange Server
Hi all - we are bringing a new store over to our internal domain for network/directory access etc but want to keep their email domain. We are both running Exchange 2016. Our functional level is 2012R2, theirs is 08R2. I know we can add their email domain to our Exch server as an authoritative domain, repoint their MX record and should have mail flow.
I'm having trouble figuring the best way to create AD accounts in our domain, migrate their exchange data and link their AD account to their mailbox. I've created an OU "theirdomain" in which their user accounts will go. I know I can specify via Exchange email policy that that domain is the default email for any users in that OU. But that doesn't help me with existing users. I was hoping to be able to do this without the 2 domains ever seeing each other or creating trusts and new AD domains etc. Mgmt wants a hard cutover but retain email usage. Any suggestions on best way to go about this?

Exchange 2016 after installation CU 18 attachments from shared mailbox can't be opened

we installed last Thursday CU 18 on a single Exchange 2016. After that we recognized that attachment from shared mailboxes can't be opened anymore. This affects all attachments, download and preview. The problem seems to be that the URL for the attachment ist wrong. When we try to download an attchment a new windows is opened and we're redircted to a url in this format (original domain name is replaced):

I do not understand why this request is getting redirected to office365.com. We do not have an hybrid enviroment or anything like that. "Normal" user accounts does not have any problems. if we forward the affected e-mail from the shared mailbox to a real person, attachment can be opened. Event logs or similar do not show any related anomalies. Any ideas whats going on or how to fix this?

I tried every thing , enabled basic authentication on EWS , MRSProxy disabled and enabled mutliple times
restarted IIS multiple times , disabled antivirus on exchange servers also but still same issue.

Rich Text (RTF) Mails, with embedded image, become currupted
We have an Exchange Hybrid configuration.
Sometimes Outlook clients receive a Rich text format e-mail and reply:
When the Outlook client sends a Rich text format e-mail with embedded image to internal Exchange 2016 CU17 server they get an NDR reply.

When the Outlook client gets outside the office and connect to Exchange Online, they have no problem.
When they return inside the office the problem stays away and never returns.

2:When I want to check my Global address list in outlook I see this error " the operation could not be completed because an offline address book is not available. download a copy of the offline address book."

As a result of my research, I read that some sources are about the CU version. Some sources write that there is a problem specific to chrome.
