Search-Mailbox deleted all my data
Please can someone explain why this power shell code deleted all inbox items!!!!
The code should get today's data and subtract 6 months, this should leave the last 6 months of data in the users mailbox.
What happened was when we ran the code is removed all mailbox items and ignored the date range, even worse because this is a system command this bypasses the recover deleted items causing data loss.
Interested to hear peoples comments.

Can't connect to server via Power Shell -- WinRM status code 301

Got the same issue as discussed here ealrier (can't attach link due to my account restrictions, but the name of topic is "EMS can't connect to server - WinRM status code 301")
but in my case HTTP redirect for Power Shell site is not enabled, and I have turned URL Rewrite off as well.
Any other ideas?

Mail box on IMAP protocol abnormal
Hi, Export,
mailbox delete and added 2 days later. I do not know it is reason why the mailbox abnormal.
the mailbox added to two outlook client. one is exchange mode, another is IMAP mode.
when I setup to IMAP, I have to setup the mailbox delegation permission first. setup this mail box to Send as.
It loooks like I have to give permission to send as the mailbox itself.
please give advice how to fix it.

RENEWAL OF SSL CERTIFICATE ON EXCHANGE 2010
Good day Support
I have two domains being used to receive emails and send email since the company did a name change and we had to change our email domain which lead to utilization of two domain as well as the OWA URL to access emails external.
Now I was to renew SSL Certificate, must I acquire Multidomain SSL Certificate or Wildcard SSL Certifcate.
What are risks should I buy Wildcard SSL Certificate, will I be able to receive and send emails from both domain, since Wildcard support one domain and sub domain of the main domain.

Outlook throwing SSL error about .local hostname on account/ profile setup
Hi all
It's been years since I posted here, so I apologize if this is the wrong place.
I have a recently upgraded Exchange 2016 server that is giving me fits. When I try to set up Outlook using AUtodiscover, it throws a certificate error that hostname.local is not a SAN on the cert (because of course it can't be).
I've been through ECP and set all of the internal hostnames to mail.customerdomain.com rather than the .local address except for ECP, but the error persists.
I've verified DNS, and autodiscover.customer.local resolves to autodiscover.customerdomain.com, and there's a functioning CNAME for autodiscover.customerdomain.com to mail.customerdomain.com.
I've been bashing my head on this all day, and my team escalated to me after they bashed their heads on it for days as well. Any ideas what is going on here?

I created DLP Policy for exchange 2016. It is working fine in OWA but not in Outlook.
Inside outlook options mailtips all options are already enabled.
Any log that I can check or any settings that I am missing.

then I received undeliverable notice email, said that :

Diagnostic information for administrators:

Is Exchange 2019 stable
Hello all,
we use Ex 2016 on Server 2012R2 and should upgrade Server 2012R2 to Server 2016 and Exchange 2016. Is it better to save on step and migrate to Exchange 2019 and Server 2019? Is Exchange 2019 stable.

Add-RecipientPermission not working in Exchange Online PowerShell
I’ve had issues with certain cmdlets. Specifically when running Add-RecipientPermission I get an error that says:
‘Active Directory operation failed on xxxxx.prod.outlook.com. This error is not retriable. Additional information: Access is denied.
Active directory response: 00000005: SecErr: DSID-03152612, problem 4003 (INSUFF_ACCESS_RIGHTS), data 0
However, if I run the cmdlet Add-MailboxPermission that one goes through fine without permissions issues. what’s going on here? I’m authing with a cert and granted global administrator and Exchange Admin roles to the application’s service principal.

Not sure there is a perfmon counter able to give that information.
I believe some RPC Client Access logs on servers have this information maybe?

We have an application that uses Exchange web services that synchronizes the calendar with another application and we are running into some problems. We are wondering if there are logs that can be pulled from Office 365 to help us troubleshoot?
FYI, we will be rewriting our application to use Microsoft Graph in the near future.

Office 365 Tenant to Tenant migration but only mails
Hello,
I am not sure if i am in the right section.
We need to migrate our Office 365 to a new tenant, but we only need to change our mail domain name and we need to keep ALL the rest as it is. ( we absolutely need to keep our Sharepoint for example ).
I am not sure if i explain it right.
Tenant A acquired Tenant B.
We are both in Office 365.
We need only to change domain name mail ( for external client ) from Tenant B with the Tenant A domain name.
no change for the data, Azure Servers, Sharepoint, OneDrive, etc... ( and off course, we need to keep all our rights ).
Is it possible ? easy ?
if yes, any suggestion how to proceed ( or a website link ? )

I would like to know how to check which servers and applications supports in-place upgrade.
Microsoft Related Application:
Current OS is 2012 R2 and applications are Active Directory servers, DHCP server, File servers, KMS server, Exchange 2016 Servers, IIS Servers,SQL Servers 2012.
Non-Microsoft Application: ARC Backup, Manage Engine, Eset Security.
Please suggest and advise if i can i do the In-Place Upgrade for the Operating system for Microsoft related applications?
For Non-Microsoft i shall check with the respective vendors.
