LS,
I'm preparing Exchange 2013 and I use the Exchange calculator to determine the hardware/storage etc. (E2013Calc5.6.xlsm)
At this moment I have many public folders in the Exchange 2010 environment (about 90.000)
Where/How should I use the calculator to fill in information for the modern public folder so that I get a correct hardware setup of the new exchange 2013 server. (the PF are now a 'normal' mailbox and not a seperate store.
Should I create a tier-2 mailbox for example with some other parameters ?
Should I add some additional IOPS for it; and what is then the guideline?
Is there perhaps an external guideline to calculate based on the old environemt?
PS pub.edb is about 300GB.
Regards
Peter
