We're slowly moving off our on-prem Exchange 2013 to Office 365. But in the meantime, we're seeing an issue where drives holding our database files are filling up with hidden files we can't find. Relatively consistently we're seeing drives
50GB fuller than they should be. Shadow copies are not turned on for any of these drives. They're getting backed up with Microsoft DPM, and the log files are on the same drives as the database files. I tried showing hidden files and protected
system files, and they didn't show up under that either. Drives are all virtual drives in a VMware environment.
Any idea what these hidden files are, or how we can locate them?
