I am trying to achieve a "whiteboard" setup in Exchange, we can't use Public Folders so this is all being done using mailboxes.
What I have done is as follows -
Set up a Shared Room mailbox - Whiteboard
Setup Shared Room mailboxes for 2 meeting rooms -firstfloormeeting and forstfloorconference
Setup 2 x resource mailboxes for the CARs to be booked Astra and Volvo
They are all configured with the Booking attendant and they all forward the meeting/appointment requests to the Whiteboard calendar. This bit all works fine. The issue comes when people can book over the top of each other so I can book the first floor meeting room all day, then send another reuest for the same room and it warns me about the conflict for me already being busy but never the room being busy so it then allows the booking.
What we want is for people to bookk resources using the relevant calendar as a meeting request, and then each room calendar to sync/populate the main Whiteboard calendar so that all users can see on the whiteboard who has what and when. Meaning users only
need to open their own calendar and the whiteboard the others are all in the background.
Can anyone help me to acheive this please?
