IE 9 and onwards do not allow .HTML attachments to be accessed through Exchange 2010 OWA

Here is my issue:

Exchange 2010 SP3

IE 8, 9, 10

In OWAvirtualDirectory configuration .HTML files are added to the AllowedFileTypes.

HTML attachments carry links e.g. http://SomeInterNameSite/.......

If we use IE8 we are able to open the HTML file and links within that HTML file works as expected.

With IE9,10 and we have issue where IE do not allow files to opened, it only allowed to be saved. When saved file is opened that the URL within are starting with ?Redirect.aspx.........<OriginalURL>

Chrome do not have this issue.

IE 8 do not have this issue.

Firefix DO have this issue.

I went through some of the forums for FireFox, as per them it is how OWA is sending the headers that is causing the issue. There appears to be also issue caused by SafeHTML filtering in OWA. For XML files SP1 had fix where web.config can be configured to make sure filtering do not sniff it whereas I cannot find anything about HTML.

Anyone having any idea how to overcome this? We do not want users to first use "save target as.." option within IE and then open files. For business reasons files should open from OWA directly.
