Head IT security admin have recently installed RU6 with service pack 3 and we have been experiencing some issues. The first issue prevented shared Calendars in outlook 2010 from opening. Users reported error messages "the set of folders cannot be opened. The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has failed" . I solved this issue by Applying SP2 update to all the Client PCs with Office 2010.
The New issue at hand is that we have an Organizational Relationship (using a Federation Trust ) set up with another organizations Exchange Server on a different domain so that they can share calendars. Since the RU6, this link has been broken one way...and if you guessed it..on our side. The other Organization can clearly see our shared calendars...but once we try to connect to the other organizations Shared Calendars, It end it an error stating "Could not be updated" .
At this point my only guess is that the break in communication may be related to Us jumping to RU6 and The other Organization being on a different RU or SP in general.
Keep in mind that this Calendar share function has worked in the past...prior to the RU 6 jump.
