Not sure if this question have been asked before, i dont know the correct question to search for, so here it goes:
i migrated our client from exchange 2003 to 2010. migration went well, i have all the mailboxes on the new exchange server. the problem i'm running into now is outside web access to owa.
basically the client has a web site, abc.com, they have a link at the website that connects to the 2003 owa (their website and exchange 2003 were located on the same server). when you put in the user login, the 2003 owa redirects to the 2010 owa. heres the issue, when it redirects, it uses the internal address and i have no clue how to change it or where to even start looking. any suggestions would help.
to better illustrate:
main site is abc.com, when you click on the link it redirects to xchange.abc.local
this causes the page to not be displayed.
any ideas as to how to change it from xchange.abc.local to xchange.abc.com and have the web browser display the page properly?
i have opened the https port on the firewall to port forward to the correct server.
