EWS Returns a diffrent EntryID on an item in a public folder than Outlook

Hello,

I have discovered a problem with the managed EWS API when retreiving a mail item from a public folder on Exchange 2013 AND Office 365.

The EWS will return the ewsid, and converted to an entryID, but it does not match the same entryid as Outlook sees. I have traced it to the parent folder of the item. This folder returns a diffrent entryid for the same mail item.

Could this somehow be related to the new location of the public folders ?

When I do the same on items in a private mailbox the EWS - entryID and Outlook - entryID match 100%

I have listed the EntryID of the same item as identifyed through EWS and Outlook SPY
