How to Get Outlook Contacts information(including name, email,address, phone number) using WebDAV?

We have already tried the Live Connect API (with no success) to get the complete contacts information that a user maintains on his outlook account. Live Connect API is very restricted (to the level of uselessness) it gives just the name and some useless fields like is_favorite etc. 

WebDAV seems to be a solution but not very sure since there are no tutorials available for it (none that we could find).
